Shawn Daly                                                            Chairman, West Hartford Republican Town Committee

Dear ,

To all the devoted fathers in our West Hartford Republican family—Happy Father’s Day!

As we take a moment to honor the dads and father figures in our lives, we are also reminded that the values we pass down—patriotism, personal responsibility, and commitment to community—are the very values that sustain both strong families and a strong nation. As we approach Independence Day, let us celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and rededicate ourselves to preserving them here in West Hartford.

The Republican Town Committee is more than just a political group—it’s a community of citizens committed to thoughtful leadership, open dialogue, and effective local government. Your involvement matters, and together, we ensure our values continue to shape the future of our town.

Join Us: WHRTC Meeting – Monday, June 16 at 7 PM
📍 Town Hall – Room 400 (4th Floor)
📍 50 South Main Street, West Hartford

We encourage all members, friends, and neighbors to attend our next WHRTC meeting this Monday evening. Your presence and participation are essential as we continue to grow and strengthen our Republican presence in town.

Agenda Highlights:

🔹 In Remembrance of Bob Farr
We will begin our meeting with a moment of silence to honor the life and service of our former Town Councilor, State Representative, and WHRTC member Bob Farr, who passed away on May 27. Bob was a dedicated public servant and a dear friend to many in our community.

🔹 Special Guest Speaker – Danele Rhoads, CFO/COO of Fair For All
We are pleased to welcome Danele Rhoads from Fair For All, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to combat identity-based practices that threaten civil liberties. Danele will share how the organization educates the public, builds resilient communities, and promotes fair policies in towns like West Hartford.  See below for information about Danele Rhoads.  Click this link - Fair for All to learn more about the organization.

🔹 Recap: Celebrate West Hartford – June 8
Last Sunday, our WHRTC tent at the Celebrate West Hartford event was a great success. We handed out nearly 1,000 promotional items under sunny skies and shared our message with hundreds of residents. I also had the opportunity to meet briefly with Peter Andrews, the new Chair of the West Hartford Democrat Town Committee. Join us Monday to hear more about our conversation and what it might mean for local politics.  I plan to discuss with Peter the issues we feel are important to those who reside in West Hartford.  See below tor the list of issues or click this link West Hartford Issues to see the "Blog" section of our website.

🔹 Municipal Election Planning
We’ll continue our discussions about potential Republican candidates for Town Council and Board of Education. If you or someone you know is interested in running for office—or even just learning more about how to get involved—this is the perfect opportunity to take the next step.

🔹 Fundraising & Events
We will review plans for our annual Lincoln/Reagan Dinner—a cornerstone fundraising and community event—and provide updates on our next Trivia Night. These events are key to both supporting candidates and strengthening our network.

🔹 Committee Reports
As always, we will hear brief updates from our local representatives and subcommittees:
• Town Council
• Board of Education
• Registrar of Voters
• State Central Representative
• Fundraising
• Marketing
• Recruiting
• Candidate Support
• Election Day Planning
…and more, as needed.

Stay Engaged. Stay Informed. Stay Involved.

Thank you for being part of the West Hartford Republican Town Committee. Together, we can make a difference—for our families, our town, and our future.

Wishing you a meaningful Father's Day and a patriotic Independence Day.

With gratitude,

Shawn Daly
