Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Update for Residents and Families

Dear Resident or Family Member,

COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families: Calvary Tanilba Shores

Further to our last communication, I am writing to let you know that all Calvary Tanilba Shores residents tested in the latest round have returned negative results.

However, for the safety of our residents and in line with Public Health Unit advice, Calvary Tanilba Shores remains closed to visitors and residents will continue to receive all care in their rooms.

We are continuing to liaise with the Hunter New England Public Health Unit, and anticipate our next update to you will be the middle of next week, or as more information becomes available.

We understand that this may be worrying for you and your loved one in our care. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to continue to look after the health and wellbeing of all our residents while keeping them safe during this difficult time.

As always, visitation exceptions can be made for residents receiving end of life care and for compassionate visits. Please contact the home manager to make arrangements.

Please also contact the home to book a video call with your loved one, or if you have any concerns.

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience at this time.

Sincerely,

Sandeep Kandel

General Manager, Aged Care.
