The sun shone on each occasion and the emotional atmosphere for Fellows, students and staff alike was palpable. We have been on a challenging journey together through these 18 months of Covid uncertainty, and the decision to proceed with in-person graduations went down to the wire. Corpus Honorary Fellow knighted in Queen's Birthday HonoursSir Andrew Hopper CBE FREng FRS, Professor of Computer Technology in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, has been knighted for services to Computer Technology in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2021. Sir Andrew has made a major impact on the modern digital world through pioneering work in computer systems and architectures and his work on computing and sustainability is helping to tackle global problems such as biodiversity and climate change. News from the Parker LibraryParker Library manuscript at St Albans CathedralOne of the Parker Library's finest manuscripts, MS 007 the Chronicale and Register of Benefactors of the Monastery of St Albans, will be on display until 3rd September in the Cathedral's Lives and Legacies Exhibition, which features the fascinating stories of the individuals who visited and invested in the Abbey over six centuries.
