Global Crusade with Kumuyi is Reaching Millions, Changing Lives Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) has been a catalyst for profound spiritual transformation across the globe. Over just the last three years of the organization’s existence, GCK has reached more than 180 nations, counted 600,000 conversions, and welcomed 5.9 million attendees to their powerful evangelistic campaigns. At the heart of GCK is the visionary leadership of Dr. William Kumuyi, pastor and convener of GCK. Renowned for his expository preaching style and unwavering commitment to biblical truth, Dr. Kumuyi has captured the hearts of millions worldwide, first through Deeper Life Christian Ministry (Deeper Life), a church he founded in 1973. At 83 years old, Dr. Kumuyi continues to inspire audiences worldwide with his unwavering faith and passion for spreading the Gospel. On July 17, NRB membership presented an exclusive webinar featuring Dr. Phil Cooke, founder of Cooke Media Group and author of Church on Trial: Your Congregation, Mission, and Reputation During a Crisis. Cooke shared how decades of NRB membership have proven fruitful for Cooke Media Group. In particular, the company has developed numerous movies, TV specials, and client relationships through networking opportunities at conventions. “Any time you can get this many Christian media professionals, communicators, filmmakers, [and] producers into a room, count me in,” Cooke said. Cooke, as a communication professional, tackled the topic of crisis response. While recognizing the importance of also seeking legal and mental health support, he emphasized the crucial role of clear and honest communication, specifically crafting messages for congregations, reporters, and donors in crisis situations.
