Extra, extra: we need PCP student extras for recruitment video!

PCP is working with an external partner to develop a recruitment video, and we want to feature our amazing students! We are looking for 10-15 students who are available on Thursday, November 9 from 1-3:30pm (or part of that time) and who are willing to let us film you doing normal student things, like walking across the quad, through the STC, writing on the white board in IPEX, etc. You would need to be dressed casually with your backpack/school bag and SJU swag is encouraged (but not required; please no branding from any non-SJU entity). WEAR YOUR PAJAMAS ON NOV 9TH!

At STC from 1-3 PM on Nov. 9 (Thursday) PCPediatrics is bringing back PJammin! Wear your pajamas to show support for childhood cancer warriors! Learn about pediatrics as we fundraise to support childhood cancer research. We will also have the Be the Match program -a bone marrow registry you can join to help save lives touched by cancer. We have more pill pins to sell, badge reels, Chick-fil-A sandwiches and a raffle for THREE WINNERS of an Owala Water Bottle. To enter the raffle, a donation must be made to ACCO (American Childhood Cancer Organization) any amount will do (extra entry if you're wearing pajamas)! We are looking for volunteers as well! Operation Diabetes and PCP-SSHP's Speaker Event featuring Dr. Chris Dorian!

Join us at our speaker event featuring Dr. Chris Dorian on Monday, November 6th at 7 PM at IPEX 239! Dr. Chris Dorian is a consulting pharmacist with an emphasis on diabetes management. Learn more about his experience in this pharmacy field and the journey of finding his unique path! There will be free pizza. This is also a great opportunity to network with a PCP alum! Questions? Operation Homeopathy Pin Fundraiser!!!

Interested in an ADORABLE flower, bee, or mushroom pin? Come to STC Atrium on November 9th any time between 1pm and 3pm to buy a pin in support of Operation Homeopathy and APhA-ASP. Rho Chi is excited to sell PCP Comfort Colors sweatshirts!! See flyer below. This sale is open to anyone who may be interested!! The shop will be opened until November 30th, orders will be shipped 3-5 weeks after the shop closes. A choice of pick up or direct delivery is available. Pick up will be located at the UCity campus mail room once the orders arrive. If you choose direct delivery, an additional fee for shipping is required. Spring 2024 Registration is just around the corner!

Spring Registration will begin on November 6th. Students are assigned registration dates based on their classification. You can find your registration time and check for holds in your Student Profile in The Nest. You must clear any holds on your account to be able to register. Please review your checklists and Registration Assistance Documents on the PCP Student Google site to prepare for the Spring semester. Pharm. Sci and Pharm. PCP-SSHP Why Midyear? Event

Join us this Thursday, November 2nd at 6pm on Zoom to find out about all the opportunities and reasons you should go to ASHP Midyear! During our event you will be able to learn more about career development, educational opportunities, networking, and tips for success. Midyear offers plenty of opportunities including poster presentations, residency showcase, networking opportunities, personal placement program, and student programming. This would be a great opportunity for students interested in residency and fellowship.

Application to Graduate Now Open!

All students who are projected to graduate in Spring 2024 are asked to apply to graduate as early as possible. The Registrar would like to get a head start on graduation clearance for next semester. As a reminder, all eligible PCP undergraduate and PharmD students only graduate in May. The deadline to apply to graduate and make any adjustments to your application is December 1st. 2024-2025 Pediatric APPE Matrix Application

Calling all P3 students! The Pediatric Team of Dr. Alm ad Dr. Bradford would like you to join us for the Pediatric APPE Matrix for the 2024-2025 year. The application can be found at the button below and will be due by Friday, November 10th, 2023. The applicant can specify rotation blocks and type of experience (pediatric clinical, pediatric research, and/or teaching rotation). The application also includes your CV and a short video. Volunteers Needed at The Healthier You Conference 2023

I am hosting The Healthier You Conference 2023 in Chester (city) on Saturday, November 11. It's a full day of wellness workshops, fitness classes, celebrity appearances and more!

I am in need of volunteers to help on the day of the event, as well as the day before for set-up. The event offers a great opportunity to serve an under-resourced community. Volunteers will receive:
