NRB President & CEO Statement on Passover
Earlier this week, NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller issued a statement on Passover, expressing NRB’s continued solidarity and friendship with Israel and the Jewish people.
We wish a peaceful observance of Passover to our Jewish friends in Israel and the United States. NRB and its members are richly blessed by our countless friendships and partnerships between American Christians and the Jewish people.
Passover is a celebration of divine deliverance. Today and every day, we stand in solidarity with Israel and call for the release of the 133 Israelis who have been held hostage in Gaza by Hamas for six months. Moreover, we condemn expressions of antisemitism here in the United States and pray that peace would prevail between neighbors and among nations.
73rd Annual Observance of the National Day of Prayer to Broadcast from Capitol
On May 2, Americans will gather across the country in parks, churches, schools, and statehouses to intercede for the nation’s spiritual welfare on the National Day of Prayer.
The National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force will broadcast its 73rd annual observance from the Capitol Visitor’s Center Auditorium in Washington, D.C., as well as at thousands of affiliated events around the nation, in all 50 states and two U.S. territories.
Prayers will cover seven key areas of influence in America: church, family, education, business, military, government, and media. Leaders from all these areas will pray and receive prayer, including NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller, Family Research Council president Tony Perkins, author and theologian Os Guinness, and many more.
