Redland City Council is partnering with the Department of Customers Service, Open Data and Small and Family Business to continue the Redlands Small Business Hub service. Register now for a free consultation with the Business Concierge representative for Redland City.

Redlands Business Excellence Awards 2025

Celebrate the passion and success of local business at the Redlands Business Excellence Awards 2025 Presentation Night on Saturday, 18 October at the Alexandra Hills Hotel. 

Guests will enjoy a glamorous Red-Carpet Reception from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with live entertainment and canapés, followed by the Awards Ceremony from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The evening will feature the presentation of the 2024 Redlands Champions, including Industry Category Award Winners and Business of the Year, along with live entertainment, a guest MC, main meal and dessert service, lucky door prizes and acknowledgements.

Understanding the city planning puzzle        

Redland City Council is launching a new initiative to help the community understand how planning decisions shape the city. Over the coming months, short videos and resources will explain topics such as zoning, housing, infrastructure, environment, and development assessment, while also showing where community voices fit into the process. This will feed into the new Redlands Coast City Plan, which will guide growth over the next 25 years.

Business Brews for Redlands Coast Manufacturers

Redland City Council’s Economic Development and Partnerships team invites local manufacturers to Business Brews, an informal networking event on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Bacchus Brewing Co., Capalaba. The event offers a chance to connect with fellow manufacturers and learn about industry assistance programs available to support business growth. Guest speakers will include Business Chamber Queensland, presenting on sustainability as well as trade-related opportunities, including those linked to the upcoming Brisbane 2032 procurement guidelines.
