Outbreak declared over at Calvary St Martin de Porres

Following advice from the Hunter New England Public Health Unit, we are very pleased to let you know that the outbreak at Calvary St Martin de Porres has been declared over.

Restrictions have been lifted, residents can now move freely within the home, and the home will re-open to a limited number of visitors from tomorrow, Friday, 21 January 2022.

To help limit the risk of infection, general visitation will be limited to one nominated visitor per resident, and they will be required to have a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on site before entering the home. Visitation exceptions will still be made for residents receiving end of life care, residents who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided.

Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for any symptoms of COVID-19.
