Good Morning
You are warmly invited to join the Cranbrook Student Representative Council (SRC) on Thursday 2 November in supporting the Watarrka Foundation, for drinks, canapés, and personal reflections by Cranbrook students on their recent time in Central Australia.
The Watarrka Foundation is focused on delivering programmes that support a sustainable environment, education, healthy lifestyles, and independent livelihoods for Aboriginal communities in the Watarrka region. Their work in supporting the Watarrka Primary School, attended by children from three homeland communities Ulpinyali, Wanmarra and Lilla, has impacted these children in a significant way.
The evening will also seek to raise funds to provide a Starlink System for the Ulpinyali community so that we can connect meaningfully with them and empower this remote Indigenous community and its education on Country mission.
