We are pleased to bring you this Waihoehoe Road upgrade project newsletter. This issue includes an update on the enabling works and information about the upcoming community day on Saturday 22 February 2025.

Ngā whakaritenga | Enabling works

The first enabling works were completed ahead of schedule during the January rail block-of-line.

We’ve constructed hoarding walls on both sides of the rail track to protect future bridge construction which also required some earthworks along Tui Street and the deconstruction of a retaining wall on the eastern side of the tracks.

There’s still some earthworks and hoarding installation to be completed which will be done during the Easter rail block-of-line.

Come and meet us at another community information day on Saturday 22 February at Drury School Hall (Young Crescent, Drury 2113).

Please note this is at a different venue to our usual community information days.
