Polypharmacy learning sessions

Does your patient need those medications?

In this series of nine webinars using real case studies, providers enter into thought-provoking discussions around widely prescribed medications.

Presented by providers experienced in polypharmacy risk reduction, each webinar explores different medications and issues, such as the dangers of long-term use of proton pump inhibitors; avoiding too many meds for diabetes or blood pressure; weighing risks versus benefits of statins; which medications are unsuitable for seniors, and many others.

The webinars were recorded as part of a recent Shared Care South Peace Polypharmacy project in Northern BC.
