Once again, I would like to thank each and every person who donated to the People's Resource Center and Interfaith Food Pantry in 2022. Your generosity exceeds my expectations. Because of your generosity, we donated over 250 bags and boxes of food and other much-needed items. Both organizations are so grateful for your donations. 

In 2023, I will still be collecting and delivering the donations. The drop-off time is now 11am-1pm on designated Saturdays. If that does not work in your schedule, please put your donations in the box outside the office. I will make sure they get delivered. A very big thank you to Barbara and Anthony Giordano, who make the deliveries to IFP.

Starting January 8th, Sunday School will dismiss at 10:45am.

The Annual Meeting will be on Sunday, January 29th, after church.

Do you love holding babies and playing with little children? We need you! 

We are in need of a second adult to help in the nursery on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:30. You can sign up to help once a month or just to help occasionally when it works in your schedule. Please contact Dawn Schubert at rural_rococo@msn.com. Thank you!

We offer our prayers to Pastor Kyle Roggenbuck and her entire family as they grieve the loss of her mom, Carolyn. She passed away December 30th. Click here for Carolyn's obituary.

St. Matthew will once again be packing meals with Feed My Starving Children on Monday, January 16th, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will meet at FMSC at 1:45pm to pack food for starving children in countries all over the world. We will pack from 2 - 3:45pm and then leave from there, after taking a brief group photo outside.

Please note the time change! This is different from the times we have packed before

If you haven't packed before, it is a great experience and we always love to have new people join us. There are only 40 spots reserved. You can reserve a spot by emailing Alex Johnson, messaging him on Facebook, or texting him (630.890.7244). You can also sign up in the narthex. If you email or message Alex to reserve spots, please let him know the number of people coming and the first/last names of all volunteers. General reminder that anyone going will need to wear closed-toe shoes when we are at the building. We hope to see you there!

St. Matthew will host a blood drive on Thursday, February 16th from 12-5pm.

Kenna Anderson will host the January Women's Fellowship at her home on Thursday, Jamuary 19th, at 7pm.

Come play euchre on Friday, January 20th in Dobstaff. Snacks and game play review at 6:30pm. Play begins at 7pm. Bring a snack to share. All are welcome. Contact Roseanne King with questions.

If you requested giving envelopes for 2023, they are on the table in the narthex and ready to be picked up. 

In addition to collecting bread tags for SCARCE, we ARE continuing our collection of ink and printer cartridges, used gift cards (that are used to make guitar picks), and corks.

Empty pill bottles are still ON HOLD for now.
