    Many Medicaid Managed Care Plans Aren’t Adhering to State Requirements to Cover Alcohol and Opioid Use Disorder Medications

    A new study led by Sage Feltus and Maureen Stewart also found that many of these plans imposed prior authorization requirements on these medications, even when prohibited from doing so, and this misalignment between state requirements and actual plan policies was more common in Republican-leaning states. Read more.
