From Texas to Colorado: Project Milestones, Student Visits & New Faces at Blueprint No images? Click here Building MomentumFebruary 2026IN THIS ISSUEFEATURED HIGHLIGHTS OUR PEOPLE Dear Friends and Partners, February has been a month of momentum across the Blueprint community — from project milestones to meaningful moments with students and partners. In Texas, we were proud to stand alongside Aristoi Classical Academy as their new campus begins to take shape, marking an exciting step forward for students and families in Houston. In California, we welcomed Ednovate USC Hybrid High students for a day of learning and connection, opening doors to career pathways in real estate development. And in Colorado, I spent time on the ground with partners and school leaders, strengthening relationships and advancing projects that will serve communities for years to come. We’re also excited to introduce our spring interns, whose energy and curiosity remind us that our work is not just about buildings. Thank you for being part of the Blueprint community and for helping make this work possible. Warmly, John Sun, CEO FEATUREDAristoi Campus Demo Day in HoustonWe were proud to join one of our newest charter school partners, Aristoi Classical Academy, for the demo day of their upcoming campus in Houston, Texas. Moments like these represent far more than construction milestones. They reflect planning, a shared commitment to students and families, and a vision for what a permanent, purpose-built learning environment can make possible. As walls come down and new spaces begin to take shape, the future home of Aristoi is becoming tangible. This campus is the result of thoughtful strategy, strong collaboration, and deep dedication from Aristoi’s leadership and board. We’re grateful to Butler-Cohen, LDD Blueline, and the many subcontractors whose expertise is helping bring this vision to life. We look forward to seeing this campus takes shape and serves Houston students for years to come. HIGHLIGHTSEdnovate USC Hybrid High Students Visit BlueprintWe were delighted to host a group of engaged high school students from our charter school partner, Ednovate USC Hybrid High, for a day at Blueprint. Students explored the full real estate development process — from site selection and planning to financing, construction, and project delivery — and heard directly from our team about the diverse career pathways that shape the built environment in Los Angeles. What made the visit especially meaningful was the opportunity to connect real projects to the people behind them. Students asked thoughtful questions, expressed curiosity about how their own campus came to life, and shared interest in future opportunities — including our summer internship program. CEO John Sun Visits Our Partners in ColoradoColorado continues to be an exciting area of growth for Blueprint, and it was a pleasure to have our CEO, John Sun, on the ground this month connecting with partners and school leaders. John joined Joy Griffin, our Executive Director for Colorado, and Kelly Wilcox, Senior Project Manager, to meet with Colorado Schools Fund. Their partnership is helping to expand access to thoughtful, sustainable facilities financing for high-quality public charter schools across the state. The team also visited Lotus School for Excellence, where intentional facility planning and strong execution are helping create learning environments that support scholars and educators alike. Now one year into our Colorado work, it’s energizing to see the relationships, projects, and momentum taking shape. We’re grateful for Joy and Kelly’s leadership and proud to be building alongside such dedicated partners. We look forward to what’s ahead. OUR PEOPLEWelcome to our Spring Interns! We’re excited to launch our spring internship in Oakland and welcome our inaugural Spring Intern cohort. Please join us in celebrating: We’re proud to once again partner with Lighthouse Community Public Schools and Oakland Unity to provide students with hands-on exposure to real estate development and facilities work. Over the next ten weeks, interns will explore career pathways, build professional skills, and learn alongside industry leaders. We’re also deeply grateful to our generous sponsors, Colliers and CalGeo, whose support makes this experience possible. Their partnership reflects a shared commitment to investing in young people and expanding access to opportunity across our region. |
