How to Experience Joy April 28 • 3:00 PM
Pioneer Teen Loft Pioneer Women's Ministries invites you to join Pioneer member Robin Tait on Sunday, April 28, as she shares what God has taught her about how to encourage ourselves in those times when we're feeling lonely, discouraged, isolated, or depressed. These tips are practical, easy, and helpful whether you find yourself in difficult situations or just want to maintain a daily, positive outlook. There will be a social time from 3:00 – 4:00 PM with games, puzzles, coloring pages, and pencils. Please bring a snack to share with your table. Beverages will be provided. Robin's presentation will begin at 4:00 PM. To register, text the word “HOPE” to 269.281.2345.
Farewell Reception for Pastor Jenifer April 27 Please join us this Sabbath, April 27, to express appreciation for Pastor Jenifer’s ministry at Pioneer. Two come-and-go receptions (one immediately following each of the morning worship services) will be held in her honor on the patio between
Pioneer and the J.N. Andrews sculpture. (If the weather is poor, there will be one reception held immediately following second service in The Commons downstairs.) All are encouraged to come and share their gratitude with Pastor Jenifer for her service to Pioneer.
Update Renovate 2.0 (4/6/2024) Wow! The members of Pioneer Memorial Church are so faithful in their giving! There is only $7,033 remaining to complete the project. Fantastic! Thank you for your generous support of this important upgrade to Pioneer Memorial Church. Let’s finish Renovate 2.0 soon!
AdventistGiving Online (AGO) Contributors Your faithfulness is very much appreciated. To ensure that your donations are properly credited to your account, when contributing through AdventistGiving, please log in under your name, instead of contributing as a "Guest." Thank you!
Distribution of Great Controversy First, I want to say thank you to those who made it possible for copies of the abbreviated version of the book Great Controversy to be made available to members at Pioneer last Sabbath. While I would have selected a different cover had I known in advance which version was coming, I am confident that our congregation will overlook the provocative graphics and be blessed by the book’s exceptional content. (It’s gratifying to know that the
publisher, upon hearing of our concerns, is strongly considering developing a different cover.) Second, and I say this to our entire congregation, please know that Pioneer was in no way associated with the unfortunate distribution of the same book over the weekend in the town of Berrien Springs. While I wholeheartedly support the contents of Great Controversy and agree with its wide dissemination in appropriate ways, the chaotic distribution of this particular edition done over last weekend was not representative of who Adventists are, and who they should be in this community. I, with all Adventists that love and care about our community, look forward to making up to our neighbors in the future whatever good will may have been lost this last weekend.
– Pastor Shane

Offering for March 27, 2024 Michigan Advance Partners As we sang our closing song for worship that night, I knew this week would be a special one I would remember forever. I was in high school, and I signed up to work at FLAG Camp, which stands for Fun Learning About God. It is a day-camp based
at Andrews University in Michigan, and before the summer even began, we as staff went to a staff training week where we bonded and learned how to best serve the children who would come to our camp that summer. Read More
