We hope you are having a great summer. With New Student Orientation 2023 just around the corner from August 23-28, we would love for you to get involved! We are now accepting registrations and applications for NSO Preceptorials and grants.
We hope that you will consider joining us for these opportunities below and we thank you in advance for your support in welcoming students to campus!
NSO & SYO Preceptorials
NSO and SYO Preceptorials will occur on Saturday, August 26 from 11am-2pm and Sunday, August 27 from 11am-2pm. Preceptorials will run typically from 45-90 minutes and can be offered more than once in the time blocks. Small-group interactions are encouraged, but larger sessions can also be arranged. Preceptorial submissions are due August 1.
Grant Opportunities
There are ways to get involved with our office even after NSO & SYO! Explore the opportunities that we offer beyond the classroom. We encourage you to apply for a First-Year Experience (FYE) and/or Second-Year Experience (SYE) grant. We can assist with marketing your events and funding up to $500!
Application Deadlines: Wednesday, November 1 at 11:59pm for fall grants & Thursday, February 1 at 11:59pm for spring grants.
