ALERT

LAST CHANCE - If You Currently Export To China and Want To Continue You Need To Act Today

For continued access to China past 31 December 2022, you MUST act now
If your export establishment holds a current listing for China, and you wish to continue to export to China in the future, you must update your registration details within the China Import Food Enterprise Registration system (CIFER) by 31 August 2022.

All seafood establishment registrations and listings for China access are due to expire on 31 December 2022.

Failure to update your details within CIFER will result in loss of access to China on 1 January 2023, and you will need to re-apply for China listing. Here are the key dates and steps you need to take.

You must:

  1. Obtain a temporary password to access CIFER and Help Cards to assist you through the process by contacting exportlisting@agriculture.gov.au
  2. Action the following in CIFER:
  • Update your establishment listing in CIFER through a ‘modification application’ by 31 August
  • Extend your registration within CIFER once your modification has been approved by GACC by 31 September (note: this can only be completed once your modification has been approved)

Even if you are not sure if this applies to you – contact the department today -exportlisting@agriculture.gov.au  or call 6272 5105.
