2026 Rental Affordability Snapshot

Anglicare WA has released its annual Rental Affordability Snapshot (RAS), and this year’s RAS reveals that the rental crisis in WA has now become an economic crisis.

Granny Flats and Co-Living

Our 2026 Rental Affordability Snapshot shows a growing prevalence of granny flats and co-living arrangements in Western Australia’s private rental market.  But do these models improve outcomes for renters or do they risk entrenching housing insecurity?

Social Housing Income Eligibility

Anglicare WA has partnered on a project led by Shetler WA to understand the impact of social housing income eligibility limits and to identify fairer and better ways forward for our social housing system.  But what are income eligibility limits and why do they matter?

Anglicare WA is preparing for the release of the WA State Budget on Thursday 7 May 2026.  Released every financial year, we advocate for the Budget to address concerns for everyday Western Australians and support those doing it tough.  But what is the State Budget and why is it important?

Harmony Week Watch Party | 17 March, Boorloo (East Perth) and Online 

Anglicare WA acknowledged Harmony Week and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (IDERD) by hosting a hybrid online and in‑person Watch Party for staff. The event featured a thought‑provoking TED Talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on the danger of reducing people or places to a single story, a display of cultural artefacts shared by staff, and provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our shared responsibility to challenge racism in all its forms.

Advocate for Change RAS Corporate Breakfast | 19 May, 7:30 am
