Science Week: Colour & Sip workshop
Wednesday 17 August, 6 - 8pm. Cost: $10
Join marine scientist Zuhairah Dindar and artist Merran Hughes Zuhairah and immerse yourself under the sea with mindful colouring in. Participate in a collective work on large-scale colouring sheets based on our local marine habitats, while learning about our local fish and marine plants, the practices of marine science and the importance of ocean protection.
Suitable for 15yrs+.
Author Talk: Skin Deep with Phillipa McGuinness

In order to write her book, Phillipa spoke to plastic surgeons, dermatologists, public health experts, beauticians, people with melanoma, burn survivors, tattoo artists, victims of racism, and all kinds of people comfortable in their skin, and those who are not. This talk will enlighten and amaze you about skin, the human body's largest organ.

Virtual Dive and Colour-in workshop for families

Journey under the ocean with marine scientist Zuhairah Dindar on a virtual dive to explore the wonderful species and habitats of the coastal waters of Sydney. Afterwards join artist Merran Hughes in a collective colouring-in workshop.

Blue World Colour-in workshop for families

Artist Merran Hughes will be leading this family event with discussions on marine species, biology and ocean protection. Families will then work on large scale colouring sheets that will later be displayed in the children’s library.
