Tickets on Sale for PCP Gala 2025!
PCP Gala is happening on Saturday, February 22nd from 6-10 PM in the Cardinal Foley Center on HH. Includes food, DJ/dancing, mocktails, photo-booth and 3 drink tickets for beer/wine/seltzer (21 years of age and older). Transportation provided to/from from U City. Cost is just $15 for PCP students/faculty/staff and $60 for non-PCP guests. Gala is made possible through a generous donation from Walgreens. Purchase tickets ASAP but no later than January 31st. Phi Delta Chi Recruitment Event
Phi Delta Chi will be hosting a recruitment event for anyone who is interested in becoming a brother. For those interested, we will be hosting a Squid Games inspired event at Doyle Banquet Hall South, on the Hawk Hill campus at 8 pm on February 7th, 2025. We hope to see you there! 1/30
ISO pharmacy students for spring 2025 recruitment events!
It's that time of year... to recruit new pharmacy students to join the PCP pharmily! We are looking for students who are interested in helping with Admitted Student Days (and other periodic events) this spring. Admitted Student Days are Sunday, February 16; Saturday, March 15; and Saturday April 5, and students would be engaging in interactive activities in the patient care simulation suite, community and inpatient pharmacies in the IPEX 3rd floor. Time commitment is approximately 12:30-3pm on each day. If you are interested, please submit this Google form and Dr. Waite will be in touch with you as each event gets closer. If you are interested in being on a list for possible recruitment events that come up during the semester, fill out the form and select that option, and Dr. Waite will be in touch with opportunities as they arise. PCP@HH Looking for P2-P4 IPPE Panelists!
PCP@HH is hosting an IPPE informational event/panel to educate current U2s on the pre-req, selection, and IPPE processes. We are looking for P2s and P3s who can share their IPPE experiences, specifically regarding their P1 site. It is on Wednesday, February 5 at 5:30pm on the Hawk Hill campus (Mandeville 123). Save the date!! DVSHP's Platform Presentation Night, May 13th 2025
The Delaware Valley Society of Health System Pharmacists (DVSHP) has arranged a celebratory night in which those who want to join have the opportunity to present posters on health-system pharmacy. This will be hosted at a center city restaurant! Location TBD! Presentation topics can include: evaluative study reports, descriptive reports, case reports. This is an awesome opportunity to gain experience in delivering a professional presentation in a low stakes, welcoming environment of pharmacist and DVSHP members. We are looking for 2-3 students in each of the P1, P2, P3, and P4 years who would be interested in meeting with the ACPE site team when they come to PCP for our focused accreditation site visit. The meeting is as a group of students with the site team members on 3/27 from 12:15-1:00pm. If selected, you will be excused from class.
