The Summer Is Over PRESCOTT KHAIR Every year at the end of August, the humidity arrives with the gentle weight of a cozy blanket, albeit a damp one that hasn’t quite dried out. It has always been my subtle reminder that summer will be over in just a few weeks. The end of summer is a ubiquitous
time mourned and celebrated by students and parents respectively. On on hand the last week before returning to school means cramming as many hours at the water park, local ice-cream shop, or friends’ house as possible. And, on the other, it means packing backpacks, prepping school lunches and planning kid drop-off and pick-up routines. Read more
New and Returning Students Picnic August 26 • Following second service It's that time of year for Pioneer to welcome new and returning students! Help us love on our students as they join this community. The picnic will be held immediately following the second service on Aug. 26, and
to make it happen volunteers are needed to provide lunch and fellowship to our students. Your menu can consist of lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread, and desert. Pioneer will provide drinks. Wednesday Evening House of Prayer
Location Change Please join us for House of Prayer each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM as we now meet in the main sanctuary. If you need a spiritual shot in the arm during the middle of the week you'll find it here as we sing, pray, and reflect on God's promises together. God meets us here each week as we grow closer to Him and each other. Our numbers are growing and we hope to see you there.
Renovate 2.0 Update #8 The Project: The elevator is completed and operational! All those who have needed this addition are welcome to use it. We will be having a ribbon-cutting event and a dedication event in the very near future. Watch your email for the details! Next, the glass wall will be installed, and the project will be done!
Fundraising: As of 8/23/23, there is $736,737.77 that has been raised with $263,262.23 to reach our goal! We are so close! Please join with others to finish this wonderful addition! Remember Renovate 2.0 in your giving plans and pray for its completion!
Pioneer Sanctuary Choir Tuesdays • 6:30–8:00 PM
Earliteen Loft Join us as we prepare amazing choral compositions to sing for select church services throughout the year. New members are needed and will be most welcomed, so give us a try. Our rehearsals are light-hearted hearted, and at times comical for those who enjoy humor. Beginning Sept. 5, rehearsals are every Tuesday, from 6:30–8:00 PM in the Eariteen Loft. Come with a spirit of singing and light fellowship.
Relief From the Maui Fires The Hawaii conference is active in supporting both church and community members who have been affected by the wildfires near Lahaina. Offering for August 26, 2023 Michigan Advance Partners In the 2022-2023 school year we experienced a slight increase in our Conference K-12 enrollment. This is a blessing and shows the benefit and value parents are seeing in having their children in an Adventist environment. We anticipate that this
