CQC’s Peter Robertson Appointed to CMS Panel and Cal Healthcare Compare BoardCQC’s Senior Director of Practice Transformation, Peter Robertson, has been appointed to two key advisory roles advancing health care quality and transparency at both the national and state levels. Peter joins the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services QRS/QIS Technical Expert Panel, advising on how Health Insurance Marketplace plans are rated and evaluated for quality. He has also been appointed to the Board of Cal Healthcare Compare, a nonprofit that promotes transparency and helps Californians make informed decisions about hospitals, long-term care providers and other health services. At CQC, Peter leads large-scale technical assistance initiatives that support primary care teams in strengthening care delivery, including advancing equity-focused quality improvement, integrating behavioral health and improving chronic disease management. These appointments reflect both Peter’s expertise and CQC’s role as a trusted partner driving quality improvement, innovation and systems-level change across California and beyond. Advancing the Conversation on System ChangeThis month, CQC leaders were featured at two prominent industry events, sharing lessons from our work to advance delivery system transformation. Crystal Eubanks, Executive Director, served as a featured speaker at the Healthcare Innovation Summit, joining payer and provider leaders to highlight California’s breakthrough efforts to align value-based primary care payment. The panel focused on early lessons from the California Advanced Primary Care Initiative and its multi-payer alignment effort. Kristina Mody, Director of Practice Transformation, spoke at the Integrated Care Conference, where she joined fellow experts to discuss sustainable payment models and policy strategies that support integrated, whole-person care. These conversations underscore CQC’s foundational role in advancing practical, scalable solutions to strengthen primary care, accelerate behavioral health integration and advance health equity.
