What an incredible night last night! We are thrilled to see the results of our hard work, as a “red wave” rolled across the country in the state, federal, and presidential elections. Thanks to the dedication of people like you—people who canvassed, made calls, and shared our message—we were able to drive real change and bring important issues to the forefront. Your energy and unwavering spirit were key in making this happen, and we cannot thank you enough.

Here in Connecticut, while we didn’t see the exact state-level results we’d hoped for, our hard work is making a difference. We made significant inroads, showing that Connecticut is ready for fresh ideas and is open to hearing from candidates who represent our values.

Locally for West Hartford, there are several bright spots worth celebrating. Matt Corey received over 40% of the vote in his race against Senator Chris Murphy, showing that our message is resonating with voters. Similarly, Jim Griffin and Kyla Zimmerman gained more than 30% of the vote in their respective races against Congressman John Larson and State Senator Derek Slap. These results are proof that our efforts are making a meaningful impact, and they’re a solid foundation upon which we can build.

Looking ahead, we’re well-positioned for the future, but we need your continued support as we prepare for the 2025 municipal elections. With last night’s success as momentum, our work begins now to bring that same energy to our local candidates. We’re inviting you to ride this red wave with us—please consider attending our town committee meetings, and if you’re interested, think about joining our committee. Your voice, enthusiasm, and commitment will be essential in electing municipal candidates who share our vision for a stronger community.
