IMPORTANT: COVID-19 Staff Update at Calvary Central Park

Date: 21 January 2022

To: All Staff – Calvary Central Park

From:  Dana Ieraci, General Manager Aged Care

I am pleased to let you know that all tested Calvary Central Park residents have now received negative results from the latest round of testing.

This means we now are able to lift the restrictions at Calvary Central Park in line with Public Health Unit advice and visitors will be permitted entry, subject to guidelines.

Are visitors allowed to the home?

Calvary Central Park will reopen to visitors from 21 January 2022.

  • One single nominated visitor will be permitted per resident during the home’s visiting hours, due to the heightened risk of infection and community transmission. This will be in place until further notice.
  • The visitor is permitted subject to a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on arrival
  • Visitors are provided with PPE including face masks, to be worn at all times during their visit.

As a precaution, we will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19 and further RAT testing will be conducted on Monday 24 January.

Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time.
