Participants say the format is more accessible and easier to engage with, and many have found that completing the training together has created opportunities for support, conversation and community. PLEASE PRAY FOR THOSE GATHERING AT GENERAL SYNOD The Online Convention of General Synod 2025 is being held on Saturday 18 October. Please pray for all who will serve – our leaders, delegates, volunteers and organisers. Pray, too, that while the church resolves business outstanding from the Regular Convention in 2024, the Spirit will guide all those present in grace, hope, unity and peace. CONVENTION TO BE STREAMED ONLINE The Online Convention of General Synod on Saturday 18 October will be streamed online via the Synod Livestream webpage. You can view livestreams of the worship services and business sessions on this page once the convention commences. Looking for Reformation resources? A special worship service and lunch will be held on Sunday 2 November 2025 at St Michael's Lutheran Church, Hahndorf SA. The service begins at 9.30am, followed by a light lunch.
