We are hosting a sector-wide hui on Tuesday 21 April in Tāmaki Makaurau at the Aotea Centre to discuss our recent consultation paper and share updates on our planned strategy for the 2026/27 financial year.

This hui is an opportunity to meet ā-kanohi with the Board and senior team at Te Māngai Pāho, and to provide your input before our accountability documents are finalised.

2025/26 Special Projects funding round

Te Māngai Pāho has partnered with Manatū Taonga | Ministry for Culture and Heritage to deliver content for Matariki 2026. Special Projects also seeks to fund projects for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. A total of 24 applicants were submitted to the recent Special Projects funding round, and eight were approved totalling up to $2,563,202.
