COVID-19 delays: State Highway 22 northbound lane

The opening of State Highway 22 northbound has been postponed. Unfortunately, asphalt works that were due to take place on Thursday night, to open the road, were cancelled due to staff isolating with COVID-19.

We hope to complete this final piece of work and open both lanes of SH22 as soon as possible, aiming for early next week.

As with many other organisations across the country, we have a limited number of staff and crew available to work due to the continued spread of COVID-19.

We are grateful to the Franklin community for your patience as we work through this.

A reminder that Caltex Karaka and Animal Stuff are still open for business and welcome anyone coming through.
