Pathy Family Foundation Welcomes Layla Saad

Layla Saad is the new Executive Director of the Pathy Family Foundation.  She brings over 20 years of experience working on issues of poverty, inequality, participatory governance, and sustainable development with a range of institutions including the multilateral system, governments, and NGOs, both in the North and the South and at the national and international level.  For the past 18 years, she has worked with the United Nations (mainly UNDP and UNICEF) in Egypt, Germany, New York, Brazil, and most recently with the eight countries of the South Asia region (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka). Prior to this Layla was active with NGOs in Canada working to strengthen community organizing in low-income urban areas. Read More
