Due to the stricter measures now mandated by the government and SportSG, all ANZA soccer in-person activities will be temporarily suspended, starting today. This includes all weekday trainings and Saturday sessions. We are disappointed about this change, especially as our season has just started and the players were enjoying being back on the pitches together. However, we understand the reasoning and encourage everyone to do their part to bring about a return to in-person play as soon as possible.
Zoom Sessions
As we have during previous similar suspensions, we will offer Zoom classes on the following schedule, with sessions lasting 40–45 minutes and run by Coach Putra and our team of professional coaches:
Day Starts at Who

Tuesday 5 pm Competition: B13 & B14

Parent Coaches Who Wish To Do Saturday Zoom Sessions With Their Teams
We encourage willing parent coaches or other parent volunteers to provide a Saturday Zoom session to help build team fitness, skills, and camaraderie. If you would like to do this, please follow these guidelines:
- Coach Putra invites any interested parent coach or fitness enthusiast to join any of the weekday sessions this week. You may observe or you may actively participate, with the goal being to use his session as a model that you can adapt for your team session.
- Create your own team Zoom link and use it each Saturday if possible.
- Communicate with your team so all members have the team Zoom link
and start time.
- We recommend keeping sessions to 40 minutes; however, if you want a longer session, please be aware that personal (free) Zoom accounts limit meetings to 40 minutes and warn your players they will have to sign in again.
- This option is strictly voluntary. If you do not wish to do a Zoom session, that is fine. Other parents on your team are also welcome to help if they are enthusiastic!
New Players Still Welcome!
Please encourage any non-ANZA players wishing to join a trial session to contact the office via this sign-up link so we can process requests fairly and efficiently. Do not share the Zoom session link please, as we prefer potential joiners to have the relevant AGC contact them before proceeding.
If There Is a Confirmed Covid-19 Case in the ANZA Soccer Community
If an ANZA Soccer player, coach, or volunteer is confirmed to be positive for Covid-19, please be aware that communication about this will be left to the MOH and its contact tracers. ANZA Soccer will not notify the larger team or age group unless specifically instructed to do so by MOH. We encourage ANZA Soccer families to avoid speculating about any Covid-19 cases they may hear about or contacting coaches or AGCs/CTCs with questions. If you or your child is identified as a close contact, we understand that you will be contacted promptly by government contact tracers and given further instructions.
Thank you and we all hope to see the kids back out on the pitch ASAP!
