World Environment Day Head to the Endeavour Hills Library to collect your free kitchen caddy and tune into the talk on going zero waste on Saturday 4 June. Visible Mending Workshop Come along to this free workshop at Bunjil Place Library to learn different techniques to visibly mend clothing, and make it even better than before. Bookings required. SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE Power Saving Bonus Until 30 June 2022, the State Government is offering a $250 contribution towards the energy bills for eligible Victorian households. There are Casey households that are eligible; find out if you qualify here. Food from Home Enliven Victoria’s Food from Home program is continuing to support the Casey community to grow and share food at home by providing free seeds. BIODIVERSITY Clyde Regional Park Development A new regional park is being planned in Clyde on Bunurong country. The community consultation phase is open until 5 May. Try planting garlic, broad beans, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, fennel, kale, leeks, lettuce, parsley, peas, rocket or spinach.
