2023 Candidate Workshop

BOSSI hosted the annual candidate workshop at the Kurri Kurri TAFE campus on 19 and 20 May 2023. This year's event saw 46 candidate surveyors and 8 mentoring surveyors interacting and learning the examination and registration process from those in the profession.

Thank you to the presenters who covered off the competencies and expectations of the examiners and the Board which included the topics of Urban Cadastral, Rural Cadastral, Strata and Community Title, Spatial Information, Town Planning, Engineering Design and Mining.

Board members, examiners and recently registered surveyors led the sessions with candidates and presented the opportunity for candidates and mentors to review and discuss past projects and ask questions about the registration process for land and mining surveyors in NSW.

The attendees enjoyed the opportunity to network and engage with fellow candidates, BOSSI Board members & examiners over the two days. Thank you to the Institution of Surveyors NSW who sponsored the Friday evening networking event.
