Don't miss: Adult Learners' Week 2024 in Wales Ufi's strategic partners at Learning and Work Institute are running their annual Adult Learners' Week across Wales from 9th to 15th September Each year the campaign sees over 10,000 adults in Wales participating in a wide range of learning activities. Adult Learners' Week, in partnership with the Welsh Government, aims to highlight the value of lifelong learning by make learning and skills opportunities more accessible to everyone and inspiring people to discover how learning can change lives. Adult learners and learning providers can access hundreds of free online and in-person courses, events, and resources on the Adult Learners' Week website throughout September. Upcoming event: Ufi's strategic partners at the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) are hosting their annual conference from 3 to 5 September in Manchester. This year, ALT is bringing the Learning Technology community together with a focus on 'doing, reflecting, improving and collaborating'. ALT invites leaders, researchers, practitioners and innovators to analyse and collectively discuss where developments in learning technology might lead us and what can be done differently. The Ufi team are looking forward to attending the conference and running sessions as part of this year's programme. Latest: Mobilise launch new community app for carers Ufi portfolio company Mobilise launch a new app to help carers engage, find support and connect with others. Mobilise is a digital platform and community providing access to knowledge, expertise, and skills for the 13.5 million unpaid carers in the UK. They work with Local Authorities to help provide support to unpaid carers in their communities and empower them to thrive through online skills sharing and support. Suzanne Bourne, Co-Founder and Head of Carer Support at Mobilise, talks about her own journey as a carer and why they have launched an app. Catch-up: Our friends at GoodTech Ventures hosted a workshop on how to achieve and maintain Product-Market Fit, a key element of success for startups.
