Toy Collection for Christmas Care

On Sabbath, December 13, we will be having our annual Children’s Celebration of Christmas. In this worship service, the Adventurers will collect new, unwrapped gifts for ages 0-16. Each year, we partner with "Christmas Care" to provide gifts to 300+ families in our community who are unable to purchase their own. This is yet another way Pioneer can participate in the 2nd part of our PIONEER strategic plan: Interacting and partnering with those in our community. 

Christmas Breakfast

Let’s celebrate the joy of Christmas with good food, warm community, and grateful hearts! Join us on December 20, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, before our main worship service. Bring your favorite breakfast dish to share and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship as we celebrate the season together.

A-J Breakfast casserole or hot/cold cereal
K-R Bread, muffins, pastries
S-Z Fruits, Juice Pioneer will provide milk, hot chocolate, and nuts

Feast of Lights

Pioneer Memorial Church

Andrews Academy invites the community to the 52nd annual Feast of Lights program. Join us for an evening of music, Scripture, and drama honoring the King of Kings, featuring lights, bells, choral and congregational singing, a Nativity scene, and the Hallelujah Chorus performed by the Chorale and Orchestra. The church sidewalks will be beautifully illuminated with Christmas lights. This free event will be held at Pioneer Memorial Church on the Andrews University campus, and all are welcome to attend.

Advent Devotional

Pioneer Women’s Ministries’ Advent devotionals will highlight a few of the promises of Jesus. To receive the “Red Letter Promises” daily devotionals by email for the first 25 days of December, text the word “ADVENT” to 269.281.2345. We pray you will sense the nearness of Jesus during this holy season through these devotionals.

Pioneer Office Closure

Please be aware that the Pioneer church offices will be closed for the holiday season from December 22 to 26 and again from December 29 to January 2. We will reopen on January 5. Our church services will continue as usual during this time. If you have any announcements to share, please submit them by December 19. Thank you for your understanding. Pray Unceasingly

Pioneer has joined with "Michiana Prays," a regional collaboration of 31+ churches and organizations committed to unceasing prayer throughout 2026—together seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance, revival, reformation, and the outpouring of the former and latter rain. Pioneer and friends will cover the 3rd Wednesday of each month, ensuring 24 hours of continuous prayer. Click the link below to find out more information & to sign up. In Luke 10:30-37 Jesus tells a parable about a priest, a Levite, and a Samaritan who came upon a man who had been beaten and robbed. When the priest and the Levite saw the man, they concluded that their help was optional. They could help, but they did not have to help, and in the face of competing priorities, they opted not to help. The Samaritan, on the other hand, did not see his help as optional.
