This means that staff within your organisation may have additional responsibilities of supporting a loved one. Being both a carer and maintaining employment can be challenging. Ensuring carers feel acknowledged and supported within workplaces is not only essential to carer wellbeing but is vital for staff retention and a positive company culture.
Carer Gateway "I would like to introduce myself as the new Business Relationship Lead (BRL) with Carers WA looking after brokerage services within the Carer Gateway space. The BRL role aims to bring together Carers WA and service providers for mutually beneficial business relationships. The role is about building partnerships, valuing the relationships already developed and driving business improvements which better support the lives of carers. If you have any questions you want to discuss about your business needs, operational queries or general business concerns please feel free to contact me." July Business Update It has been a steady and exciting start for the last two months in the Business Relationship Lead (BRL) space. Over this period the BRL has connected with several service providers introducing this new role and learning about the different services each provider offers in the community. This information was relayed back to the staff within the Carer Gateway to maximise services available to meet the needs of carers. The meetings were beneficial for both parties with discussions bringing new business ideas where they did not exist before. The overall topics discussed focussed on potential to expand business opportunities, challenges faced by both parties and upcoming amendments to Carers WA’s service agreement. The BRL space is a very exciting new space with real business growth potential going forward. Contact Us Enquiry Type Contact Enquiry Type Contact Enquiry Type Contact |
