July Business Update

It has been a steady and exciting start for the last two months in the Business Relationship Lead (BRL) space. Over this period the BRL has connected with several service providers introducing this new role and learning about the different services each provider offers in the community. This information was relayed back to the staff within the Carer Gateway to maximise services available to meet the needs of carers.

The meetings were beneficial for both parties with discussions bringing new business ideas where they did not exist before. The overall topics discussed focussed on potential to expand business opportunities, challenges faced by both parties and upcoming amendments to Carers WA’s service agreement. The BRL space is a very exciting new space with real business growth potential going forward.
