Course Update

Dear Members,

As we welcome the arrival of spring, we want to share an update on current course conditions and the recovery efforts underway.

This past winter brought prolonged cold and excess moisture, which caused stress to several greens. A combination of freeze damage and water saturation resulted in turf challenges across certain areas of the course.

The recent shift toward warmer weather is proving beneficial, and we’re beginning to see encouraging signs of recovery. As soil temperatures rise, new growth is emerging, and overall conditions are steadily improving.

You may also notice an increase in Poa Annua throughout the course. This persistent weed has become more resistant to traditional herbicides, making it harder to control. Fortunately, the continued warming trend will support the natural dieback of this nuisance grass.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and ongoing support as we navigate these seasonal challenges. Your understanding plays a vital role, and we remain confident that conditions will continue to improve with each passing week.
