Pioneer Women's Ministries invites you to join Pioneer member Robin Tait on Sunday, April 28, as she shares what God has taught her about how to encourage ourselves in those times when we're feeling lonely, discouraged, isolated, or depressed. These tips are practical, easy, and helpful whether you find yourself in difficult situations or just want to maintain a daily, positive outlook. There will be a social time from 3:00 – 4:00 PM with games, puzzles, coloring pages, and pencils. Please bring a snack to share with your table. Beverages will be provided. At this time of year when everyone remembers their volunteers, we would be remiss if we didn't remember ours. In today's fast-paced world, time is a valuable commodity. When people take time out of their busy lives to volunteer their services, it should never go unnoticed. Volunteering requires energy, passion, commitment, and sometimes hard work. Smells can bring a flood of memories to your brain. A special family recipe can spark a whole host of thoughts and emotions as it passes through your home if someone is making a meal. There are recipes that my mother and my grandmother have made, that still bring me joy when we get together and they are cooked for the family.
