Click here January 6, 2023 Final Report Select Committee Releases Final Report on January 6 Attack on U.S. Capitol On December 23, 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee to Investigate the January 6, 2022, attack on the United States Capitol released its final report, which expands on the previous hearings. This report supplies an immense volume of information and testimony assembled through the Select Committee’s investigation, including information obtained following litigation in federal district and appellate courts, as well as in the U.S. Supreme Court. New Report Youth and the Juvenile Justice System—2022 National Report On December 29, 2022, the National Center for Juvenile Justice released the fifth edition of a comprehensive report on youth victimization, offenses committed by youth, and the juvenile justice system’s response. This report is funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the National Institute of Justice. The report—previously known as “Juvenile Offenders and Victims”—offers juvenile justice practitioners and policymakers the most reliable information on youth and their involvement with the juvenile justice system through the 2019 data year. Webinar Investigating Vehicle Theft and Carjacking Hosted by the Justice Clearinghouse and the International Justice and Public Safety Network (Nlets), this webinar discusses what happens when you are given a vehicle theft claim. When: Tuesday, January 31, 2023 FEMA 2022 National Preparedness Report The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the 2022 National Preparedness Report (NPR), which summarizes the progress made towards building and sustaining the capabilities needed to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the nation and describes the major gaps in emergency management preparedness. While the focus of the 2020 and 2021 NPR was primarily on risk type, this 2022 report takes a more comprehensive look at long-term issues such as climate change, physical and technological risks, and the way in which individuals and communities are impacted differently by disasters. This NPR is based on data as of December 31, 2021, and highlights the following topics: 1.
