Shadow Mentor
Consider registering as a mentor for Carleton’s Job Shadow Program to take part in a one-time, 60- to 90-minute session with a student. As a mentor, you will provide a student with the opportunity to learn about your career, as well as the skills, competencies and education requirements of your profession.

“It was a long time ago, but it still feels like a significant achievement. I loved my time at Carleton and still take courses,” says Kathryn.
Wow! The photo contest we shared on social media received HUNDREDS of entries. There were so many wonderful memories that we decided to prepare a photo album of your submissions. The winning shot selected by random draw was submitted by Kathryn D., taken at Convocation in 1978 where she is pictured (right) with fellow graduate students after receiving her master's degree in physics.
