From Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre
Hello Yackandandah! Winter in Yack means hot choccies, the smell of wood fires, crisp mornings and cosy cafes. What’s not to love? There’s a holiday energy as family groups, snow-seekers, and adventure-lovers roll into town on their way to the snowfields, stopping by to enjoy our warm country charm before hitting the slopes. There’s also been a steady stream of hopeful prospectors and fossickers taking to the creeks and gullies, gold pans in hand and dreams of striking it lucky. A reminder that Ausnet has advised us of a power outage on Thursday 31 July from 9:00am to 4:00pm to carry out essential maintenance. You can find more
details at outagetracker.com.au. As a result, the Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre will be closed for the day. However, our team will still be available to assist via our website live chat and by phone on (02) 6027 1988. Thank you for your understanding. Feature your business on the Yackandandah website - for free with ATDW. Thanks to Council, tourism operators can list their business on the official Explore Yackandandah site free of charge for 12 months. It’s a great way to boost your visibility and connect with more visitors. To get involved, email info@exploreyackandandah.com.au or call (02) 6027 1988.
And while you're at it, make sure you've downloaded the Victoria's High Country App to stay up to date. If you are due to renew your current tourism business ATDW listing, please reach out so we can send you a coupon code. Best wishes,
The Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre Team
