Hello Transfer Students!
We hope you have been enjoying the specific population events the past two days! Below you'll find more information about today's events.
For today’s weather, we're expecting a mostly sunny and hot forecast, with a high of 90 degrees. Stay hydrated, grab a bottle of water at our Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS) hospitality booths!

The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at some of the many programs that you have to look forward to this week. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS) Orientation Leader who will guide you through the week. Welcome Center for Transfer Students

Meet the tPHINS, pick up orientation materials (wristbands for PMA), sign up for various events, join the class listserv and more. Stop by Student Services Expo for additional resources and PennCard pickup.
Hub@Penn Expo & Campus Express
Houston Hall | 10am-3pm
Come to your “one-stop shop” for essential resources and services for all Penn students.
Transfer Need2Know Session Part 1
Meyerson Hall B1 | 1:30pm-2:30pm
Informal N2K — upper class transfers will let you know essential information all Penn students should know about Penn and Philly.
President And Provost's Family Welcome
College Green & Penn Commons | 4pm-4:45pm
First-Year families join President M. Elizabeth Magill and Provost Beth Winkelstein at the steps of College Hall, followed by a light dinner.

President and Provost’s First-Year Family Welcome
College Green | 4pm-4:45pm
First-Year families join President M. Elizabeth Magill and Provost Beth Winkelstein for remarks at the steps of College Hall, followed by a light dinner.
Daily Rewind - Tuesday 8/23
Today was the second day of specific population move in!
President M. Elizabeth Magill welcomed students to campus during her First-Year Move-In College House Visits. Of course, she had some help from our Penn Quaker!
Students and their families were able to walk through Houston Hall and learn about many different organizations throughout campus at the Hub@Penn Expo.
tPHINS guided their peers around campus and students located and learned about important buildings.
Students gathered for dinner as an opportunity to meet their peers and explore local restaurants.
Dining Café Hours For Wednesday, August 24
Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed through the Penn Dining website here. Dining hall options for today include: McClelland Sushi & Market, Lauder College House, English House, Falk at Penn Hillel, Hill House, and 1920 Commons.
