Click here June 13, 2024 Reminder – Attaching patients through the PASThe Provincial Attachment System (PAS) is designed to make it easier for patients who don’t have a family doctor to connect to one, and for doctors to bring new patients into their practices. As of June 13, 2024, just over 4,650 family physicians and nurse practitioners (approximately 92%) have submitted their panels. Thank you to all physicians who submitted and are now also managing their panels in the PAS. If you have capacity in your existing practice or you are a newly practicing doctor, please ensure you update the PAS to indicate that you are able to accept new patients. FAQ’s - Reducing duplication on panel listsOne of the actions for supporting patient attachment is to accurately identify the Most Responsible Provider or MRP for each patient. Since the announcement in May 2024 of MRP clarification efforts, a number of physicians have reached out with questions. These questions have now been compiled into a list of FAQs that is available on the Doctors of BC PAS FAQs webpage. You can find them by scrolling to the bottom of the page, to find the heading “Reducing Duplication of Patients on Panel Lists”. Questions include:
