(Pool) Shark Week

One of Belle Meade’s most esteemed members, Stacy Turner, will host his annual “Pool Shark” dinner at the Club this Wednesday evening. Stacy and eleven of his fellow cue-wielding comrades will gather to relive their glory days and swap legendary tales of billiards bravado.

The Pool Club, originally founded in the 1930s by Stacy’s father, carries a rich legacy. In fact, legend has it the house had to be built around the pool table because it wouldn’t fit through the door!

While we can’t vouch for Stacy’s pool skills, we’ve heard from a reliable source that he’s exceptionally skilled at keeping a tight grip on a dollar.

If you’re at the Club Wednesday night, swing by the Fox Room—you just might catch a glimpse of the original hustlers in action.

Welcome! 

We are pleased to welcome the newest members of Belle Meade Country Club:

Evan and Christy Williams, along with their children Evan Jr. (2) and newborn Bristol, have joined as full members. Evan owns Elite Ground Maintenance, and Christy works in online instruction for The Water Tower.

Brent Lee and his sons, Ronin and Shamus, are also new members. Brent is a project engineer at John Deere, and the family lives in Harlem. Ronin and Shamus attend Harlem Middle and High Schools and are looking forward to hitting the golf course.

Mike and Michelle Heffner have joined as full resident members. Mike works at JW Sales Inc., and the couple lives on a farm in Warrenton where Michelle keeps things running—grass cut and chickens fed!

Johnny and Mandy Brantley, residents of Thomson, have also joined as full resident members. Johnny is employed at SRS, and they have two children, Tripp and Jackson.

The Board of Directors extends a warm welcome to all our new members. We’re thrilled to have you at Belle Meade!
