I’m excited to share that the West Hartford Girls Basketball League has a brand new logo!  You’ll start to see it everywhere—from our website to banners to lawn signs—as we get ready for another amazing season.

🌐 New Website, Same Address

While our web address www.whgbl.org hasn’t changed, our website has been completely redesigned with a fresh look and feel. We’ve partnered with a new recreational sports management platform, Crossbar, which will give players and parents easier access to league information and tools to manage practice and game schedules more effectively. We encourage you to visit the new site and explore!

🏀 Registration Opens September 15th

Mark your calendars—registration will begin on Monday, September 15th. We can’t wait to get our players back on the courts for another great season of basketball.

📢 Promoting the Season

You may have already noticed our new league banner with our updated logo stretched across the town green in West Hartford Center since last Tuesday.

Starting this weekend, lawn signs with our new logo reminding parents about mid-September registration will also be placed at entrances and exits of all elementary and middle schools in West Hartford.

We still have a few lawn signs with our old logo, and we’d love your help! If you live on a busy street and would be willing to display one of these signs to promote registration, please email me directly at president@whgbl.org. Every bit of visibility helps us spread the word.

We’ll be announcing another team sponsor very soon, bringing our total to five sponsored teams. In addition, remember that donations to WHGBL are always welcome.
