Uniting voices for preventive health In a landmark move for public health, Healthway has joined forces with Australia’s three other state-based preventive health agencies to launch the Prevention Agency Chief Executive Forum. A collaborative initiative aimed at tackling chronic disease and improving population health nationwide. Through the newly established forum, the agencies will work together on shared priorities, joint advocacy, research and projects — making the most of our resources and laying the foundation for real, lasting change nationally.
Ngurra Kujungka has just delivered its biggest Martu Festival to date, bringing together over 750 community members from across the Western Desert. Martu people gathered for six vibrant days of sport, music and cultural celebration.

Lullabies Kwinana Project - Cassandra Edwards. Creative projects empower WA communities Healthway, in collaboration with the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, has announced more than $1 million in new funding to support creative programs across WA. One standout project is the Noongar Nursery Rhymes project, a collaboration between Community Arts Network and Playgroup WA. This project brings together First Nations community members to create joyful Noongar songs - empowering Aboriginal children, parents and families to connect with and celebrate Noongar language.

KIDDO Healthway ECEC scholarships
Early Childhood Education and Care services across Western Australia can now apply for a scholarship valued at over $2,000! The scholarship, supported by Healthway, includes a 12-month KIDDO membership, a starter pack of physical activity equipment, access to staff training workshops and full access to KIDDO’s online resources and tools.
