Tickets on Sale for PCP Gala 2025!

PCP Gala is happening on Saturday, February 22nd from 6-10 PM in the Cardinal Foley Center on HH. Includes food, DJ/dancing, mocktails, photo-booth and 3 drink tickets for beer/wine/seltzer (21 years of age and older). Transportation provided to/from from U City. Cost is just $15 for PCP students/faculty/staff and $60 for non-PCP guests. Gala is made possible through a generous donation from Walgreens. Purchase tickets ASAP but no later than January 31st. Call for Poster submissions! NJSHP Annual meeting

The NJSHP Annual Meeting invites pharmacy technicians, students, residents, fellows, and practitioners to share their research, process improvement projects, or relevant topics in pharmacy practice through poster presentations. Deadline is Friday, February 7th, 2025. Complete the application submission form by clicking the button below.The annual meeting will be on Wednesday and Thursday, March 26-27 in Morristown, NJ. P3 Students - Be a Pre-req Ambassador!

Looking to add Leadership to your CV? We are looking for a few students who are willing to serve as Pre-req Ambassadors. Pre-req Ambassadors are P3 students who have a good understanding of how to get pre-reqs done. They help their peers by providing insight on how to complete pre-reqs, creating a strategy to complete pre-reqs on time, and serving as a source of information and motivation. Students reported that the Ambassadors were extremely helpful last year!

Student volunteers for ACPE site team visit

We are looking for 2-3 students in each of the P1, P2, P3, and P4 years who would be interested in meeting with the ACPE site team when they come to PCP for our focused accreditation site visit. The meeting is as a group of students with the site team members on 3/27 from 12:15-1:00pm. If selected, you will be excused from class. There will be a meeting to prepare you for what to expect ahead of time.

PPA Annual Conference 2025

The 2025 PPA Annual Conference will be held from February 14-16 at the Hilton Harrisburg. Students are encouraged to attend to gain valuable professional development and networking opportunities. Key student sessions include Pharmacy Business Vitals, Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, and Pharmacy Finance Essentials. To register, sign up by January 31, 2025, with a discounted rate available for PPA members. Be sure to register only for the days you can attend. Hotel reservations should be made by January 24, 2025, using the special PPA group rate; rooms should be booked in groups of 3-4 to simplify reimbursement. The Dean’s office will reimburse registration costs and some hotel expenses, but payments must be made under your name. If you plan to miss class on Friday, February 14, please fill out the excused absence form as soon as possible. CPESN Student Leader Opportunity - Become a Community Pharmacy Leader!

CPESN is an organization that clinically integrates pharmacies across the country. This year, CPESN Leads will be launched for the first time, where participants will track their efforts and activities (known as pharmacy outcomes) and earn points through engagement efforts within five key leadership programs: Luminary Leaders, Next Gen Luminary Leaders, Beacon Leaders, Academia Leaders (ACT), and Student Leaders.
