Hello Incoming Transfer Students!
Welcome to your second day of Transfer Student Orientation! Below you'll find more information about today's events. Events bolded and marked [MANDATORY] are events that you must attend.
Today's weather will be warm, with a high of 74 degrees. Make sure to stay hydrated by stopping by at our Hospitality Booths for some cold drinks!
If you have any questions or would like to know more information about any of the New Student Orientation (NSO) programs, look for our well-trained volunteers, the Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS), all around campus in light blue and navy blue t-shirts.

The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at the programs you can look forward to for this week on our website! If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your PHINS Orientation Leader who will guide you through the week.
Today's Calendar
New Student Resources Fair/ Campus Express Center
Houston Hall | 10am-3pm
“One-stop shop” for essential resources and services for all Penn students.
NSO Hospitality Booths
34th & Walnut, 37th & Locust, & College Green | 10am-3pm
Staff available to answer all of your questions.
[MANDATORY] Transfer Student Info Session I
College Hall, Room 200 | 1:30pm-2:30pm
An overview of the upcoming transfer orientation schedule. Receive your NSO Wristband.
TPHINS Guided Campus Tours
Meet at the Ben Franklin Statue by College Hall | 3pm-5pm
The tPHINS will lead a tour of important buildings and landmarks on Penn’s campus.
Small Group Dinners
Meet by Rodin College House | 6:30pm-9pm
Enjoy a wonderful introduction to local restaurants and cuisines. Chat with new friends and t-PHINS in a relaxing, exciting atmosphere. Dinner provided.

Dining Café Hours For Tuesday, August 20
Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed on Penn Dining website. The options for today are listed below.
Hill, Kings Court English House, 1920 Commons, Lauder Dining Cafés
Lunch and Dinner: 11:00am-8:00pm
Falk Hillel Dining Café
Lunch: 11:00am-2:00pm
Dinner: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Halal is offered at Kings Court English House, and Kosher dining is available at Falk Hillel
