EAP/IGSP Student OrientationEvents CalendarThe EAP/IGSP Student Orientation will run from Monday, August 17 to Thursday, August 20, and is packed with events that prepare you for your life at Penn! Check out some of the many events and opportunities that you have to look forward to. Please note that several events on the calendar are mandatory for all EAP/IGSP students. Penn Libraries ShowcaseVan Pelt-Dietrich Library Center | 12pm-2pm Explore the Penn Libraries’ research materials, high-tech equipment, study spaces, and services that help students succeed. Allison Zuckerman: Remixed and ReclaimedFeintuch Family Lobby, Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts | 2pm-4pm Sign up for your free t-shirt, grab some giveaways, and see Allison Zuckerman: Remixed and Reclaimed, an exhibition of paintings that pull apart art history and pop cultureand put them back together in new ways. Wristbands and Penn IDs are required for entry. Houston + ARCH | Late Night Open House Houston Hall and ARCH | 9pm-11pm New to Penn? We’ve got you covered. This is your opportunity to discover people, places, and programs that work for you. Explore Houston Hall and the ARCH, meet representatives from campus and student organizations, and learn about resources that support you academically, socially, and professionally including many beyond the traditional 9-to-5 schedule. Come ask questions, enjoy food, connect with students, and discover everything from tutoring and wellness services to recreation, safety resources, leadership opportunities, and cultural communities. Sunday, August 23:Late Night ComedyPlatt Performing Arts House, Lobby | 9pm Meet the real Penn and its funniest groups on campus, free for all students. See five of Penn’s premier comedy groups and their stellar bands, including Bloomers, Simply Chaos, Penn Six, Without a Net, and Mask and Wig, performing everything from sketch comedy to improv.
