Students Share Their Virtual International Internship Experiences

Applications for fall 2024 virtual international internships close on Friday, September 13, 2024. These internships offer you a chance to gain degree-related work experience, develop international connections and earn academic credit, all while being remote. Important Dates

Thursday, August 1, 2024: Last day for academic withdrawal from full and late summer courses.

Monday, August 5, 2024: Civic holiday. University closed.

Join Carleton University and march at Capital Pride on Sunday, August 25, 2024!

Carleton marches to celebrate, make an impact and advocate for progress. All 2SLGBTQIA+ members and allies are invited to march or cheer on from the sidelines. Register on the Student Experience Office website.

Fall 2024 U-Pass

The U-Pass is a discount transit pass for eligible Carleton students, offering unlimited travel on OC Transpo and STO buses and trains for those enrolled in 1.5 credits or more in the fall and winter terms.

Starting fall 2024, your Carleton University Campus Card and U-Pass will merge into a single card. To use the transit system this fall, you will need to add your U-Pass to your Campus Card.

You will receive an email to your cMail account when you are eligible to visit the Campus Card Office to add your U-Pass to your Campus Card. Visit the U-Pass website for more details.

 

Career Services Job Board

The Career Services Job Board (access by logging into mySuccess through Carleton360) is a valuable tool that can help you gain work experience and begin your career journey.

The board currently has 150+ jobs in 10+ industries! New jobs are constantly being added, so ensure you check the board frequently to never miss out on employment opportunities.

Join CUSA's Volunteer Team: Chonk Nation

The Carleton University Students’ Association’s (CUSA) Chonk Nation is now accepting applications for volunteers in fall 2024. Chonk Nation volunteers assist with the execution of events and campaigns. A variety of positions are available, including Fall Orientation volunteers, content creators and outreach coordinators. Applications are due Friday, August 9, 2024.

 

Are You Eligible for the Co-op Program?

Interested in gaining paid professional work experience in 2025? If you’re in a program that offers co-op and are heading into second or third year, apply for the co-op program via mySuccess (access by logging in through Carleton360 on the Current Students website) by Saturday, August 31, 2024 to see if you qualify.

 

New Carleton University Signage at Campus Entrances

The Carleton University signage at all campus entrances are being removed to allow for the installation of new signage in September 2024. Traffic will not be impacted, but there may be temporary detours for pedestrians throughout the summer.
