Attend to develop your leadership skills through informative and interactive workshops and presentations. This year’s keynote speaker will be the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson. Tickets to attend SOAR are now on sale for $10 and can be purchased on the event website. Important Dates Monday, January 15, 2024: OSAP deferral deadline. Friday, January 19, 2024: Last day for registration and course changes (including auditing) in full winter and late winter courses. Last day to withdraw from early winter courses with a full fee adjustment. Register for the Navigating the Canadian Workplace Workshop Series Looking for a job in Canada but aren’t sure where to begin? Navigating the Canadian Workplace is a workshop series designed to support international students and students who are newcomers to Canada explore strategies for finding work and transition into the Canadian workplace. The workshops are offered both online and in person, with in person sessions beginning Tuesday, January 16, 2023. ![]() Carleton’s Free Tax Clinic is Open for Students Are you worried about filing your 2023 taxes? Don’t be! The Sprott Tax Students' Association (STSA) is here to help with their annual tax clinic. All tax returns are filed at no cost. Fill out the tax clinic's client intake form and the tax clinic team will review it to determine if your tax return is within the scope of the tax clinic. You will be emailed a link to book an appointment between Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Space Booking on Campus Space is available on campus for quiet study and group work. Accredited student groups can request classroom space and tabling space on campus as well. Student Activities and Events Bookings for student activities or events require an approved risk management form which must be submitted a minimum 14 days in advance in order for the booking to be considered. Student Registration Assistance Team The Student Registration Assistance team is available to help with winter term registration until Friday, January 19, 2024 with in person, email and phone assistance.
