Farewell to Footfaults

Many members have taken on this role over the years including Richard Swindail, Carol Bradley, Robyn Seed, Carolynne Lowden and Leeanne Biemmi to name a few. Thank you so much to all those that have worked hard to author Footfaults over the years.The time has come for the club to move on to new ways of communicating with members.

Hello to Team Reach

We have decided to use an app called Team Reach to communicate with members. 

Team Reach is used extensively by many sporting groups, and our Wednesday night social players have been trialing it for the club. If you play on a Wednesday night and haven't already done so, please download the TeamReach app and enter the code KTCWED.

Team Reach is way of communicating with all members instantly and will be used to advise of playing days and times, social events, tournaments, hot and rain affected playing days etc.

Unlike What’s App you cannot see other members phone numbers, you can only communicate with them on the app.

You will need to download the team reach app on your mobile phone and join the following group:

You may also receive a message from our president, Carolynne Lowden, or another committee member asking you to join with the relevant links.

Tuesday mid-week players will still use their What’s App group for communications as that is working very well.

What if you don’t have a mobile phone.
We have a new whiteboard to be used for advising of events planned which will either be hanging in the club captains room or on the veranda during playing times. Please check this regularly for details of events planned.

What about Facebook?
Facebook posts will be made by Carolynne and Marie periodically, so keep checking your Facebook feed for info and celebrations from our club.

Membership Fee Renewal 2024/25

Membership fees for the 2024/25 season are due on 1 November 2024. An early payment discount is available for memberships paid in full by 30 November 2024.

Senior and Junior Pennant Players to note:

You must be a financial member of the club to be considered a pennant team member as per Tennis West rules. Therefore, summer season players must pay their membership fees by the 1st of November. Non-paying players will not be able to play matches after 1st of November until fees are paid.

If your details have changed please complete a membership renewal form and return to our treasurer either by:

• placing in the safe in the Captains room
• scanning and emailing to treasurer@kingsleytennis.net

You can download a form from our website at kingsleytennis.net or get a paper copy from the Captain's room.

If you have any questions about the schedule of fees below, please speak to a committee member or email the treasurer.

Summer pennants kicks off

With summer just around the corner, our Tennis West pennant teams are raring to go. We have 7 teams playing in the 2024/25 summer competition.

Home games are a great way to watch some wonderful tennis. You'll find fixture details on the notice board in the Captain's room.We know they'd love to have your support and we wish them all a successful season.
